In 2014, the Marijuana Patient’s Organization wrote an article that tallied the number of states that have already legalized medical marijuana, and how the US government would need to examine dated laws that criminalize marijuana after a majority of the United States has adopted medical marijuana legislation. That time is today.

During a recent interview with President Obama, a reporter asked his thoughts about legalization. The President agreed with our assessment about enough states jumping on board. Unfortunately the reporter stopped short and failed to point out the clear majority that medical marijuana has achieved within American government.

At moment, 25 States, One district, 50 US Senators and 56% of US Congress Members agree with the legalization of marijuana for medical use.
