Migraine Relief From Cannabis
October 7, 2016

“I have multiple sclerosis and had to retire from 17 years as a neonatal nurse practitioner from Stanford as I had a disabling series of relapses summer 2014. Medical marijuana has changed the quality of my daily life in a positive manner.

I am convinced each day that it is healing me better every time I go out into the garden, even if I am not able to care for it with as much time and energy intensity as my life used to allow me. When I was at UCSF, studying for my PhD in nursing (also now retired from that). I learned about the endocannabinoid system through pain, stress and growth theories, focusing on cortisol influences for each of these as I investigated premature infant’s ability to regulate temperature, energy and growth. Little did I know that my discovery of controlling pain and stress lead to the best growth and health of premature infants could be applied to my life as a very capable professional. I am grateful and I know God is good. My weed heals me inside and out. “
